Litzia Galvan
As a Fullerton Biotechnology Program Alumna Litzia transferred to UC Santa Cruz with a Laboratory Assistant Certificate. At UC Santa Cruz she interned at the Science Center with her mentors Joan Muller and Megan Tyrell. She received her bachelors degree in Marine Biology and currently works at Waquoit Bay Natural Estuarine Research Reserve. Read more to learn about her research focus!

Student Internship Interview
Working as an intern alongside Gladys Rodriguez, the OD-Fullerton College distribution center technician, Evelyn prepared reagents and materials for schools participating in the Amgen Biotech Experience. She trained in the ABE labs and learned hands-on laboratory skills during her time as an intern.
